How I Facilitate
Most groups do not need more information. They need stronger trust, more honest conversation, and an environment where people can participate with care.
That is the work I do.
Through reflective process, embodied practice, group dialogue, and careful attention to relational dynamics, I help people slow down, arrive more fully, and engage with one another in a more honest and useful way.
I do not come in with a rigid formula. I come in with clear intention, strong facilitation skill, and the ability to adapt in real time to what the group, space, and purpose require.
This work is informed by lived experience, psychology, Indigenous worldview, movement, time in nature, and the ongoing practice of returning to what is real.

Facilitation in Practice
A closer look at how Ricky-Lee supports teams, communities, and retreat spaces through grounded facilitation, relational connection, and responsive leadership.
Mułaa / Rising Tide Surf Society
Board Retreat Facilitation
Mułaa / Rising Tide Surf Society invited Ricky-Lee to support their annual team and board gathering through grounded facilitation, reflection, and relational connection. The intention was not simply to move through an agenda, but to create a space where participants could arrive more fully, strengthen trust, and reconnect with the deeper purpose behind their work.
Ricky-Lee designed and facilitated a reflective group experience that supported openness, honest conversation, and a stronger sense of relationship within the team. His approach combined careful room awareness, gentle structure, embodied presence, and an ability to help people feel welcomed, heard, and supported without forcing the process.
The experience helped the group slow down, connect beyond surface-level roles, and build a stronger foundation for shared work moving forward. Participants were invited into reflection, conversation, and relationship-building in a way that felt natural, grounded, and meaningful.
“Working with Ricky-Lee has been a deeply grounding and meaningful experience for our team. His facilitation style created space for genuine reflection, connection, and openness to emerge naturally amongst our team, ultimately bringing us closer into relationship.”
— Rachel Greening, Co-Founder, Mułaa / Rising Tide Surf Society
Supernaturals Retreat
Multi-Day Retreat Leadership
As part of the Supernaturals project, Ricky-Lee guided a retreat weekend designed to support reflection, connection, and community healing. The retreat brought participants into a shared space where they could slow down, connect with themselves, and build deeper relationship with one another.
Ricky-Lee’s role required care, responsibility, adaptability, and strong emotional presence. He supported the arc of the weekend through facilitation, reflective prompts, group connection, embodied practice, and grounded leadership. Rather than imposing a rigid structure, he paid attention to the needs of the room and helped create an environment where participants could feel safe enough to reflect, share, and reconnect.
The retreat became a meaningful space for personal insight and collective connection. Participants left with deeper reflection, renewed relationship, and a stronger sense of being held within community.
“Ricky-Lee guided the workshop weekend with great care and responsibility, providing a space for participants to connect both with themselves and with each other in community healing.”
